Pink owl

Recently I was browsing through a collection of owl photo's on Facebook and came across one that was the brightest blue. It looked as though someone has taken a paint brush to it but it was the real deal. So I figured that if nature can do bright blue owls then what's to stop me from stitching a bright pink one.
CASe this sketch have a lovely sketch this week and it's

and here is my pink owl.

I doodled around the edge to complete.

I will also be entering this over at Addicted to cas where the cue is

as well as Always playing with paper where the challenge is
