Christmas Birds

A quick and easy tag

'Q for Quick and easy'

I made a quck and easy tag using a wooden button that I bought on sale.


The card stock was pre cut and I simply added a scarp of gingham paper, a gold peel off to neaten things up and some Faux stitching to finish off.
This is the last tag made with the owl buttons which came in a pack of five.

Card stock: Pre cut business card found in my Mom's stationery supply when we where clearing out for her to move.

Another oldie

'Midsummer Blues'
and here is mine


When we moved 18 months or so ago I discovered a stash of cards made when I first started doing this many moons ago. This is the last one that I have to share.
As far as technique and products are concerned I can remember very little except that I used a hand operated air brush to make the speckles which I then outlined in felt tipped pen to make it look a bit neater.

Create a set

TGIF challenges have asked us to
 
 
I made a set of gift tags using paint chips
 
 
I cut a second tag out of plain white to adhere to the back of the tag to cover the writing. Some colour co-ordinated ribbon finished them off.
he colours are muted in reality but they look very pale in this photo.

Frame it

Initially I used a black fine liner to do the frame but it didn't work so I tried these gold peel offs and they where perfect.
