NBUS #12

Every now and again Darnell over at djkard kreations  has a fun challenge which she calls
 
 
This stands for Never before used stuff.
 
I made a card with a pattern which I have not stitched before.
As I said I like skylines!
 
 
I will also be entering this over at Pinspirational challenges where it's
'Anything goes'

NBUS christmas bauble

There is a challenge over at djkardkreations called NBUS which essentially means Never before used stuff


 
I will be entering this card as it's a pattern that I have never stitched before
 

I machine stitched the topper to the base card.

A Glittery Butterfly

Butterfly spot challenge have a new challenge and it's a Butterfly with glitter and/or the colour Grape
 
Here is my card
 

I managed to do all three, my scrolls are shades of Grape and the little butterfly peel off in the top corner is very glittery IRL.

I will also be entering this over at NBUS Challenge 6 where the challenge is "anything goes"

NBUS #5

Every now and again Darnell over at djkardkreations holds a challenge called


For those of you who don't know NBUS means Never Before Used Stuff and we crafters always have some of that lying around.
My card today features a pattern which I have never stitched before and this is the first time that I am using this washi tape (bought it in Australia in January!)

I seem to be drawn to tree patterns this year for Christmas, last year it was wreaths!

Never before used stuff

There is a challenge over at djkardkreations  called NBUS, short for never before used stuff.


Today's card is made with a pattern that I have never used before so I will be entering it into this challenge.

As usual I tried it in a couple of different colours.




Supplies:
Pattern: 101 Embroidery patterns for paper by Erica Fortgens
Baker's twine in navy and silver
Flat backed gems in purple and blue
Thread: 3 shades of blue and 3 shades of mauve (brand and number unknown)
Paper: pale mauve and light blue
Card Stock: 160gsm in white
