Never before used stuff

There is a challenge over at djkardkreations  called NBUS, short for never before used stuff.

Today's card is made with a pattern that I have never used before so I will be entering it into this challenge.

As usual I tried it in a couple of different colours.

Pattern: 101 Embroidery patterns for paper by Erica Fortgens
Baker's twine in navy and silver
Flat backed gems in purple and blue
Thread: 3 shades of blue and 3 shades of mauve (brand and number unknown)
Paper: pale mauve and light blue
Card Stock: 160gsm in white

  1. This is so lovely, and I like the colors you used.
I have done some stitching on cards (not
so I know how LONG it takes to do this...
You did a wonderful job on this...lots of work...
but it turned out so well.

  2. Thanks for your kind comments Jill, I absolutely love this kind of card making/embroidery!

  3. Your beautiful cards are always works of art, Glenda! These two beautifully stitched circle designs are sensational!! I apologize for taking so long to get here to comment and thank you for playing in my NBUS Challenge #4. Life and Easter company got in the way! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell
