Last angel

Freshly made sketches has this sketch

When I made this Christmas card a couple of years ago I made 4 colour versions of it. Grey , silver and white. Today I am showing you the last one. (Just for the record I preferred the white)

I used a small square ink pad and ran it along the cardstock to make the blue stripe. Then I pricked the pattern and stitched it.

Watercooler challenges have this challenge

so I will be entering it there too.

Supplies:
Card stock: 160gsm in white
Ink: Artic Blue
Pattern: Chomikuj

  1. Wow! At first glance I thought you had heat embossed this lovely angel but then, upon reading your post, I discovered that you stitched that lovely image instead. It shows up beautifully against that blue stripe you created with your small ink square. How amazingly even your stitches are! This is a real treasure. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  4. Your stitched designs are wonderful Glenda. I like the ink pad drag along the bottom, nice touch. The stitching is amazing and looks so beautiful against the white background. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday All About Christmas challenge this week.

  6. Such a clever way to create that strip - it looks like it's been painted on with a watercolour brush. The stitched angel is just gorgeous! Thanks for playing along at FMS this week!
