Okay, so I know that today isn't a Monday but it is a special day for me. I am the Guest Designer over at Uniko studio
The challenge is to be inspired by a song or the lyrics from a song and my song is
"Rainy days and Mondays" by The Carpenters.
I suppose I'm kind of showing my age by my song choice.
Anyway here is my card
I haven't used my Texture paint for a while and it had got a bit thick hence the bald spot in the bottom left. It just fell off as I was working with it. But I decided that it added to the rough texture so I used the panel after all.
So pop on over and see what the rest of the design team have to inspire you.
I will also be entering this over at CASology were the cue is
I'm dreaming of a rainy day, or a couple of them rather, to break our drought!
and at Curtain call challenge were I concentrated on the colours in this photo
Supplies:
Thread: Cerise: DMC S601
Grey: DMC 310
Rolfes metallic pen in rose
Mask Stencil SP022
Creative Talent Texture Paint
Flat backed gems in cerise
Your stitched cards are a lovely change. I think the patchy textured paste adds to the effect & works really well. Lovely & very apt song choice for today (can't get it put my head now!) X
