Cherry blossoms

I absolutely loved the challenge over at Share joy challenge there where so many options that appealed to me. Look for yourself

In the end I decided to go with  the ribbon, flower and embossing row and made this

I combined the ribbon and flower bit and made flowers out of ribbon. The embossed paper is store bought
I'll also be entering this at Simply less is moore. where the cue is to "Add some Texture". There is a lot of texture on this card, the twine, the ribbon and the embossing and at
Color throwdown where the cue card is

Supplies:
Ribbon: 5mm silk ribbon
Card Stock: 160gsm in white
Paper: 80gsm in cerise
Store bought embossed paper
Twine
Pattern: Silk Embroidery by Ann Cox

  6. Sorry to be so late commenting, what a super texture card! The twine must be tricky to sew with, you have done a great job.
