A traditional braai



At my Grandfather's house there was always a braai just waiting to happen


although his was the more traditional grill and coals.

Paint chip flowers

At midnight tonight South Africa goes into lock down in the hope of  containing this virus. I have a stash of books, a pile of  fabric and of course at least a 100 ideas for card making. There has to be something positive to come out of all this negativity Be safe people.

A reminder

There is a reminder for the challenge over at The library craft challenge where I'm a guest librarian.
This is the card I made for that


I first pricked the roses, then made a watery solution of pink ink which I painted into each rose. When that was dry I did the stitching and layered up the rest of the card.

A stripy Birthday wish

I used it to make my nephew a card


I cut the top section slightly narrower to show of the strips. The stars where some left over and saved in my stash.
