Following a Sketch

I don't always find using a sketch as a cue the easiest thing. Often it's only after looking at the projects made by the design team that I am able to think of a card which I can enter into the challenge.

This weeks sketch at CAS(e) this sketch was just such a challenge.

  but here is my card

and a pink one too.

I used pastel Pencils to colour the little shoes and then smudged the colouring with an ear bud. Flat backed gems where added as buckles.

Thread: Pink DMC 760

             Blue: DMC 800

Pastel Pencils

Flat backed gems in blue and champagne

Paper: Blue: Paper Pizazz Soft Tints

           Pink: Crafty Ferret.
Card Stock: 160gsm
