I am entering this into the latest Butterfly challenge #34 which is Butterflies and gems.
I reduced the pattern by 50% and then fussy cut around each butterfly. When I know that I will be cutting out my stitching I am always very careful to adhere the ends of the thread inside the design so that they are not visible on the completed card.
I cut off a fraction of the front of the card so that a strip of pink paper in the inside is visible.
Faux stitching completed the look.
