MochaFrap

Split coast stampers Featured Stamper 469 goes by the name of MochaFrap
I have chosen to CASe this one of hers.
I concentrated on the three cupcakes and made this card

This is a technique that I have fun with every now and again. I don't have any Copic pens so this is coloured with water based coloured pencils and then smudged using Mineral Turps. I still need a lot od practise to get this as smooth as my instructor but I guess I don't spend enough time on it.
I decided to use a three sided folded card to make this image stand up.

Supplies:
Image: Digit stamp
Water based pencil crayons
Odourless mineral turps
card stock: 160gsm in yellow and white
Paper: Paper Pizzazz soft tints

Down Under

Simply less is moore have a fun challenge this week and it is "Down Under". This is in honour of the sponsor for this week's gift who is from Australia.
I pass through an Australian airport every time that I visit my New Zealand family but it was only at the beginning of 2015 that I actually spent any time there and I can say that from what I saw it's a great country.

So to honour all the air time that I associate with Australia here is my card.

I used a black pencil crayon to draw the cockpit windows before I stitched the card.

Supplies:
Thread: Silver: DMC E168
             Blue: Brand and code unknown
Card Stock: White 160gsm
Map of Australia printed from Google

Flower Frame

We went to a really nice place for lunch yesterday. It's in what used to be the Boiler Room of a old match factory, the factory was built in 1900 and is no longer in use but I'm always so pleased when beautiful old buildings like this are given a new lease on life. Lunch was very tasty too!
