Living and teaching where I do we get visited on a fairly regular basis by monkeys.
Now to most people they are cute and adorable but I can tell you, that feeling disappears very quickly when the children in your class won't go to the loo on their own because there are monkeys outside or you have to fork out, yet again, for a child's lunch because the monkeys have raided their lunch boxes!
My Mom lives with a fine wire mesh covering over her windows and doors, not to keep the flies out but to keep the monkeys out. They have stolen all sorts of things from her home, even perfume and her alarm clock!
I know that we humans have caused this problem by building in their natural habitat and as annoying as they are I would never do anything to hurt them. They can just be so destructive.
Well the reason I'm chatting about monkeys today is because they are the topic of my card.
This pattern is a free down load from Bergkaarten. This site is worth a visit. There are masses of free downloads there and they are not only for stitching.
I will be entering this in the challenge over at Sweet Sunday Sketch which is this sketch.
