Butterflies and corners

The fortnightly challenge over at Butterfly Challenge is called butterflies and corners. I decided to take a break from stitched butterflies and added some bead ones instead.

The required corner was made using texture paste applied through a stencil.

I also used these flowers to make some smaller cards 7.5cm x 6cm

Supplies:
Pattern: Easy Embroidery on Paper by Joke de Vette
Cuttlebug
Sizzix 8 die square
Texture Paste
Stencil: free with a magazine
Butterfly Beads from my stash
Flat backed gems for centres of flowers
Paper: Scrapes in green, mauve and yellow
Card Stock: 160gsm in white
Small cards : Variegated thread in pink, apricot and mauve
                     Sizzix 8 die circle
                     Narrow white stain ribbon
Flat backed gems in champagne, purple and pink

  1. Your sculptured corner with the texture paste is a fab idea and looks great with the stitched flowers. I checked out the site for the patterns. Some of them are awesome. I might just try a simple animal one! I like the arrangement of the panels down the page. Thankyou for fluttering by #27. Hugs Mrs A.
