AAA cards have a winter theme

 

 

My winters never get that cold so the only 'Chilled' things I do are Christmas cards

 

 

A digistamp coloured in with aqua pencil crayons and some liquid pearl snow added.

I machine stitched the snow and then added some glitter glue

Polka dots

Ther is another challenge over at Tic tac toe challenge

 

 

I did the Polka dots, neutral and free and made another mushroom tag

 

 

I doodled some grass in a fine liner and added faux stitching to finish. The tags are hand cut

Something old, something new

Uniko studio have a challenge every 6 weeks and this is their new one

 

 

As you will see I'm having fun playing with my new die. The sentiment stickers are the old. My Mom found them when she was tidying up. Who knows how long she has had them!

I will also be using this to honour Karen over at  Splitcoast stampers FS572 where I choose this card of hers.

 

This is another one of the cards I discovered while tidying my craft room last year. I used a stencil and dabbed the ink onto the black card stock/ Adding some embossing powder for emphasis.

 These where made with a Die which I received for my birthday at the end of last year. This is the first time that I have used it.

Life

AAA cards has a quote for us this time

 

 

Very literally today is the first day of the new school year here in South Africa. I get to meet the new boys in my class and start the new adventure, which is teaching, today.

 

For me this card depicts the kind of year that I would like to have this year. Most of us in the classroom moving in the same direction with only the odd one off course but from past experience I know that is wishful thinking.

Guess life would be dull and boring if we where all the same!

 

 

This is another one of the cards I found when tidying  out so it was made a long time ago. Sadly I have no idea as to supplies or brands.

The border was done with a felt tipped pen.

End of the holidays

Today is the last day of my summer holidays. They have speed past. I'm sad that they have come to an end as I still have so much that I want to do but I know that as soon as the boys arrive at school on Wednesday I will enjoy being back at work. Two 'Teacher Days' to get organized!

White, winter and a snowman

It's not often that I get to play over at Tic tac toe challenge but this time around I had a perfect small card for their White, Winter and photo inspiration column

 

 

Here it is

 

I doodled the snowman myself and then stitched him, some liquid pearls made the snow.

Nan Cee
