Primary coloured balloons

Time out challenges have this bright picture for inspiration
 
 
I concentrated on the picture on the right hand side of the lights and made my card using a variety of primary colours, as well as the black.
 
 
I made a pastel coloured version here.

Tulips

I have been wanting to try the colour combination shown at Curtain call challenge for a while so was very happy to take up the challenge.

If you look closely you will see that I used up a lot of different coloured 'end of skeins' greens for the leaves.

Distressed flower tags

I used it to make some tags which I had seen on pintrest

Dimensional butterflies

Butterfly spot challenge have a new theme and it's
 "Butterfly, dimension and/or Denim"
I went with the butterfly and dimension option.

 
This is a small card and on reflection think that maybe I should have used smaller butterflies. Oh well there is always next time!
 
I will also be entering this over at  Split coast stampers Featured stamper 493 were we are celebrating the work of Vikki. I have the same butterfly punch that she used in this card so to honour her I made a card using that punch. It has two sized butterflies on it, Vikki used the small one and I used the bigger.

Perfect for the Beach

Sequins

CAS on Sunday have asked for something that I don't often use on my cards and that is
'Sequins'.
Recently a friend gave me a packet of sequins which she had received with a crafting magazine so I was able to take part in this challenge.
I made this card for our God Daughter's birthday.

Camel

Sugarpea designs challenge 6 has this cue card. I picked up on the palm trees and
 
 
 made this card. I just love his feet!!!

as well as Split coast stampers Free 4 all 333 which is to used something 'recycled' on your card. The oatmeal card stock that I stitched on is actually the back of a calendar. I just loved the colour and the thickness is perfect for working on.
