Car Boot Sale

It's the last day of my holidays today. Am very sad. I'm spending it at a car boot sale . It's not my favourite thing to do but my youngest sister had a lot of stuff stored at my Mother's house. Autumn... The year's last, lovliest smile

This was actually not what I was originally planning on making. I had in my head something along these lines

Source: I'm in Haven blog

however I didn't measure my panel for stitching very carefully (that's what happens when you save your scraps to be used later!) and it was too short. After a quick panic I remembered these dies which I have never used before and they saved the day.
Some crochet cotton, glitter on the leaves and faux stitching complete the card.

At an angle

My holidays are going by far to quickly. I spent yesterday making clothes for little girls out of left over bits of fabric which I had. I am planning on giving them to a local orphanage. I'm on a bit of a De cluttering binge at the moment and even though I have cut out 5 dresses and 3 little tops they have hardly made a dent in my pile of left overs. Wish there where more hours in the day or more days in my holiday!!!
