Tag Card

TGIF challenges is

and CAS on Sunday is
"Christmas"

so I did this

I printed a tag and backed it with craft card stock. The tag is hand cut. I then layered reflective card stock in red and some scrap booking paper, using double sided tape to give it some dimension. A very simple card indeed.

Supplies:
Card stock: 160gsm in white and craft. Red reflective 200gsm
Scrap booking paper called 'Script'
Double sided tape
Ribbon and string scraps from my stash as is the green circle around the hole.

Pages from an old dictionary

Every year I like to choose a theme for wrapping my gifts. This year I am entering them in the The holly and ivy Christmas challenge where it's anything goes.

Here they are

and a close up

I found this image and rather liked it

Unfortunately I discovered that I have used all my old music scores for other projects so I had to make a plan. I eventually settled on pages from an old dictionary. It was quiet a labour intensive excercise as I had to cut and paste the pages to fit each individual gift but I think it was worth it in the end. Keeping with the recycling nature of the wrapping I decided not to buy matching gold ribbon but to rather use what I had in my stash. The bells are also upcycled as they are off Easter eggs from years gone by.

You may click here if you would like to see what I have done in years gone by.

Supplies:
Old dictionary
Ribbon from my stash

Black and white crackers

So I need to start by apologizing for being MIA for most of this year. My Mojo has certainly gone walk about lately. But I have decided to share what I have managed to do as they fit into the Use your stuff challenge which is

'Anything goes'

and at Just add ink where it's

This is a very non traditional Christmas theme and so was the one I choose this year.

These are the crackers I made this year to fit my black, white and gold themed table.

I added cuticle oil to the ladies and chocolates for the gents.

You can click here for my crackers from years gone by.

Supplies:
Card stock: 180gsm in black

Pink flowers

It's been a while since I have posted anything. My mojo is definately MIA at the moment. I think trying to be the best teacher that I can be under the trying pandemic circumstances has taken a huge toll. Here in South African we are finally seeing a little light at the end of the tunnel, as schools are slowly moving back to what we knew pre-Covid. I cannot tell you how pleased I am about that.

Anyway enough doom and gloom and onto the challenge at hand

Double D challenges have these beautiful pinks to motivate us

and here is my card

I stitched the panel during our hard lock down in 2020 but finally got around to assembling the card.
Initially I added three dots made with liquid pearls to the bottom right hand corner but they didn't work properly so I wiped them off. Of course this left a mark so I covered it up with a second strip of paper.

I will also be entering this at CAS on Sunday where it is
